Black and White Striped Porcelain Bead and Mixed Metal Drop Earrings

In this dark earring pair, I glazed a porcelain bead with black and white stripes, added round silver plated beads to the top and bottom while incorporating sterling silver swirl for the bottom and a flattened silver-plated bevel square for the upper end, adding a beautiful dark colored hematite stone to the ear hook pulling in the color from the lower end bead. These earrings were heavily influenced by Tim Burton and Dr Seuss style of fantastical whimsy dark art or 'Burtonesque.'
